Tutorial
Welcome. Let me walk you (or perhaps swim you) through how to play.
Welcome. It looks like you're on a rather small screen, there.
I can't fit all my annotations in, but I'll give you a brief rundown.
Loading
First, the game has to load. Good things take time, you know.
...If you don't see this screen after double-clicking the game, I can't help you.
You did double-click the game, right?
Start
Next, click on me inside that centre square.
Click here!
In the game window, I mean. Not literally here.
Character Select
After entering a name, you may select one of eight characters to play as.
They're all slightly different. Choose the one that looks the most fun!
Or whichever one. Whichever one is fine. They're all good. Trust me. Just pick one.
Up your difficulty to Hard Mode, if you dare.
The Overworld
In the overworld, you can move around on the map and perform actions.
1: The Map
- This solid red tile is where you are.
- The other solid tiles are places you've been before.
- Dotted tiles are the places you haven't seen yet.
- Tip: Click a tile to mark it!
2: Movement Buttons
Click these arrows to move...
3: Action Menu...Or click an action from the menu, then click Select to do it.
Battle
Are you up for a kerfuffle? Good!
During a fight, you can attack, defend, flee or use a skill.
The Enemy
This is your opponent.
Defeat it for XP, and possibly euros.
Health
Watch your health.
If you lose all your HP, you die.
(That's a bad thing.)
Basic Moves

Click the
to attack.

to defend.

to flee.
Select a skill and click Use Skill.
Skills consume EP.
Level Up
After you level up, you can allocate stat points to strength, dexterity and wisdom.
1: The Three Primary Stats
These numbers show your current stats.
Click them to raise them.
2: Stat Points
This shows how many points you have left to spend.
Game Over
So you died. That's okay. Life goes on.
At least here it does.
1: Resume From Save
Click the centre square to resume from your last save.
2: Resume From Town
Instead, you may opt to restart
from the last town you were in.
Inventory
Open your inventory by clicking the 
.
1: Item Stats
Click an item to see its stats.
2: Equip
Click equip to wear it.
Equipment turns cyan when worn.
3: Return
Click the 
to go back to wherever you were.
Shopping
Time to splash some cash!
Selling
To trade your extra stuff for some euros...
Click an item, then click Sell.
Buying
To exchange your money for new toys...
Click a store item, then click Buy.
